Kids disco

A Halloween special kiddies’ disco will be held in the Broadhaven Bay Hotel on Friday October 26 from 7pm to 9pm. Children from 5 to 12 years welcome. Fancy dress optional. Tickets are priced at €5 per child or a special rate of €10 for 3 children. All funds raised in support and aid of Belmullet Gala Arts Festival.

MIA Growing Real Opportunities for Women (GROW)

Mayo Intercultural Action has secured further funding to continue its work supporting women to set up their own businesses. For the past two years, MIA has worked with women throughout Mayo providing support, training, mentoring and advice to women in the process of setting up their own enterprises. Following on the success of this, MIA has now been allocated EU funding to continue this invaluable work.

Ballina Family Resource Centre is currently providing a facility for Mayo Cancer Support Association Outreach Services to run a support service in Ballina. This is available every Tuesday morning in Ballina FRC. This facility can be used by cancer patients and members of their family who have been affected by cancer. Why not drop in for a cup of tea in a confidential and relaxed environment and see what support services are available for you or your family members. This is a free, professional service in a specially designed suite within the centre, away from the hustle and bustle of the main facility.
